The Genesis Creation Narrative Pictured

During the 1st week of Orthodox Great Lent on the weekdays, we read the creation narrative from Genesis 1-3 in our daily scripture lessons.

This year I took the text from Genesis 1-3, following the daily divisions in the reading that are used on each weekday, and added some of my photos to add a visual element to the text (the photo of planet earth comes from NASA’s Hubble Space telescope).  I posted each day’s reading on my blog.   The first reading with links to subsequent blogs is at Genesis 1:1-13.

The entire blog series is now also available as one PDF:  The Genesis Creation Narrative Pictured (PDF).

You can find other photo-blogs I’ve done at  My Photo Blogs.
