Despite several serious setbacks since the transplant surgery, McKenzie, has done remarkably well and is making some good progress. She still has serious health issues, but at least one nurse feels she does have a chance to make a recovery and have a decent life. Below is a video from her hospital bedroom in which her foster mom, who is a nurse, is describing some of medical tubes and paraphernalia connected to McKenzie.
