Valentine’s Day Bugs Me

I will give the Bronx Zoo a lot of creative credit for its Valentine’s Day fundraising: Name A Roach.  For a $10 donation you can have a Madagascar hissing cockroach named after your Valentine.   Here is certainly a case where mixing truth and love produces a questionable result.   The quote of the Day is a greeting-card Valentine phrase:

Flowers wilt. Chocolates melt. Roaches are forever.

So if you’ve got $10 to spare and you love God’s created earth, visit the Bronx Zoo Webpage.   The Zoo will love you for it on February 14, even if your Valentine does not.
