Seeing this strange birth, let us become strangers to the world and set our minds on things in heaven; for God descended to earth as lowly man to raise to heaven those who cry to him: Alleluia! He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world knew him not. He came to his own home, and his own people received him not.
